Zumba was formed in 2003 by guitarists Rob Malone and Sam McCune because
of their love of Cuban Jazz. However, the band’s influences are much more diverse,
incorporating Latin, Indian, Arabian and World Music Ideas and Instruments.
We formed as a collective varying between 3-7 musicians.
Percussionist Simon Marsham and original bassist AJ Brindley left in September 2005
on good terms (cheers for the good times) & bassist Will Wright has joined Zumba
Zumba’s set consists of original, traditional & cover songs
